Creating brands with a flair for the dramatic
My passion is in working with entrepreneurs, developers, architects, designers, culinary creatives and operators to manifest vision: to create something extraordinary from nothing. To prime a brand to perform at its highest level. To make a mark.
For over a decade, I have built and led creative teams through projects with nearly 100 clients including some of the world’s most inventive hospitality groups and notable properties. Let’s build something brand new.

The Dirty Details
From 2010 to 2021, I had the pleasure of building and leading the creative team at Sideways, one of the country’s most noted hospitality creative agencies. From a company of three to a staff of three dozen, I personally oversaw each project, and developed close relationships with every client and project. My role has encompassed technology, strategy and content direction, and broadened from a deep focus in interactive to 360° services.
Prior to my role at Sideways, I began my career as an interactive art director at Ogilvy & Mather in Durham, where I balanced a full design workload with full-stack website and web app development. Upon moving to New York, I worked as an interactive art director with Dogmatic Inc., where I not only lead design projects but also built content management systems for automating regular design exercises. With Dogmatic, I directed major identity projects for CPG brands and non-profits.
With my days still often spent in front of a computer, I take comfort in working with my hands after hours. I am currently working on renovating a 110-year-old building in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn, which I consider to be my very worst good idea. My true love, though, is in designing and constructing costumes.
